About Us
With 15 years of event management experience, anitaplanner was born to help startups and small businesses achieve their objectives through strategic events. We exist to support startups to realise and exceed their goals.
The anitaplanner team comes from a diverse background: from financial services, insurance, hospitality through to business consultancy, media conference production and startups. With our wealth of knowledge, there hasn’t been a task too small or too big for us to complete.

Who is anitaplanner?Anitaplanner is a team of dedicated, hardworking individuals whose objective is to make your life easier. With experience across events and business operations, we are the A team who are committed to helping you achieve your goals. Anita Baccam, Founder: With over 15 years’ of events experience, Anita has predominantly worked within tech, startups and financial services. Prior to launching anitaplanner, an event consultancy business in May 2019, she was the Head of Events at startup co-working spaces, Stone & Chalk and Tank Stream Labs and worked as a Senior Event Producer/Manager across medium-sized to large corporate businesses. She is passionate about supporting the growth of the startup and tech communities through leading event management and delivering strategic and innovative events. In her down time, she enjoys reading, camping and taking spontaneous road trips. She is also a lover of all things food, fine wine, single malt scotch, and the performing arts. Anne Haden, Event Manager: Anne brings to the team over six years’ experience in the events industry specialising in corporate events and award ceremonies. With a passion and drive for events, Anne began her career in the industry as an intern who worked on Oz Comic-Con traveling across Australia. She produced the Better Business Awards in 2019 which is a multiple award-winning event that travels to five states. She is meticulous and has strong attention to detail when producing events no matter the type or size to the highest standard. When she is not organising events, she loves reading a good book, listening to podcasts and going on adventures with her 3 kids (2 little humans and a four-legged Rottweiler). Toon Souphida, Operations Assistant: New to the event planning world, Toon has experience working in Finance for over six years. She has worked in various roles within the public and private sectors spanning across investment banking, insurance, public planning and FMCG industries. She possesses a Master of Commerce, specialised in Finance and Accounting from The University of Sydney and is currently completing a Master of Business Analytics at Western Sydney University. Toon is in charge of anitaplanner's back of house operations, including bookkeeping, website and social media channels. She is the queen of process management and loves supporting businesses to grow by providing operational insights to support their decision-making. Toon likes keeping herself active. Kickboxing, CrossFit and gym are the things she enjoys.

What we doIn short, we provide any and all services related to event organisation. Whether that be taking care of the logistics (catering, venue sourcing, AV, operations), budget and project management, speaker and talent sourcing or program/agenda development, we do it all. We also provide consultancy services across event management, partnerships and programs.

How does it work?We work closely with you from the briefing stage through to post-event. Once you have an idea of what you’d like to do, contact us and we’ll set up a time to discuss the brief and scope of work required. From there, you will be given a quote for services required whereby a 50% deposit is payable before any work commences. Interested in working with us? What is included?Everything as outlined in the quote. Items include: logistics management (venue, catering), AV management, events admin (invitations, registration/RSVP management, project timeline), sponsorship management, marketing and collateral, supplier and talent management and more. We can do as little or as much as you need. We are here to ensure your event is a success.

What kind of events do we do?With over 15 years of experience in event management, there is really nothing that we haven’t done before. From product launches to pitch nights, to awards ceremonies, summits and conferences, we do them all. Small 10-person boardroom lunch? Done. Executive roundtable for 30 C-Suite executives? What other services do we offer?In addition to event management services, we also offer event consulting services (strategy and planning), conference agenda and program development, speaker and talent sourcing as well as assistance with sponsors/partner management. We can also act as an additional in-house resource for your team on a temporary basis. Some examples of work we’ve done outside of event management include: Partnerships Manager: Managing partner/ account relationships. Developing framework around partner SLAs and expectations. Strategy and planning: developing and scheduling content-based events for a 6-12 month period. Venue operations: Setting up venues to be hire-ready and operational, including AV set up, furniture and equipment stocktake and setup. Program manager: Managing cohort of students (day to day admin, mentoring and crisis management) and developing program agenda and social activity calendar for period of program.
